The best seafood in Tyler!!! Hands down the best breakfast in east Texas!! My family loves Happy's fish house!!!

Great experience with both eat-in and takeout. The fish and the sides are delicious and more than enough for one person. I definitely plan several and frequent visits to Happy's.

We visited Happy's for the first time On May 7th, we were Celebrating Our 31st Wedding Anniversary. We were driving home from Shreveport, LA., and I wanted Crab Legs. So I started searching and there were so many places available along the route home. Thinking we should get them in LA., because they are known to be very good there, I was wrong. We decided to stop in Tyler and I searched restaurants and couldn't really find any that offered them besides Red Lobster, I decided to look at Happy's menu options and I did not see them offered on this particular sites menu. So I gave them a call and they said yes they offered them. Upon arriving we were Pleasantly greeted and seated promptly. Our Server was Maggie and she was very Courteous and Attentive. She was very informative on questions we had about choices on the Menu. I ordered the Crab Legs/Shrimp and Sausage platter. My husband had the Catfish Fillets. Oh My, it was wonderful and fresh. There was enough food for two to three people on my order. My husbands Fish was Fresh and had amazing flavor. We both brought food home with us. We were visited at our table several times by the Manager asking if everything was good. It Was Awesome!!! Will definitely be a returning Customer! Thank You! The flies were bad that is why I did not give a 5 Star Rating

This is the first time I have ever sat down and ordered cat fish and got 1 piece.It was fried way to crisp but the 2 little shrimps I got were fairly good.I'm from Texarkana and we have really good cat fish... Nope will not return...I will save my fish eating for home..

LOVE IT! I always try to get to Happy's when I visit in Tyler! I always get the Tilapia and have never been disappointed. Have tasted other items--equally as tastey. Service very good.

I have gone to happys 12 or more times now and I have never been disappointed. I always order the salmon, it is perfect every time. The portions are large and the sides are delicious. I have recently realized that the shrimp cocktail has very fresh and unique ingredients. It's super yummy but maybe not what you would expect it to be.

Sorry this was the worst experience I've ever had with pick up. The food was so cold and for the 15.95 I paid for tiny pint size of gumbo it tasted awful!!!!!! We took our food back and will never go back again!! Horrible food .. Smells a horrible fish odor when you walk in

WARNING --- FOOD POISONING!!! October 3, 2014 my spouse and I had dinner - I had shrimp dish. Awoke at midnight with severe nausea and diarrhea with extreme dizziness. Spent next four hours on bathroom floor with continued vomiting and diarrhea. Fainted trying to get back to bed and remained on floor suffering from terrible chills and labored breathing for several more hours. Remained in bathroom and bed all day Saturday, Sunday and most of Monday. Severe case of shellfish poisoning . Fortunately for me my spouse is healthcare practitioner and able to tend to me. I contacted the company (in person and by phone) and were very unconcerned and even unwilling to provide a management person for me to talk with. NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I eat at Happy's Fish House or either of their other two restaurants, Posada's or Mercado, in Tyler.

Please do something with that cole slaw. Something is so wrong with the dressing. It is so simple. Just add some name brand mayo, salt, pepper, sugar and galic powder and it will be the best ever.
