Michaels Grill My GO TOO Restaurant Lunch or Dinner! Amazing Clam Chowder too!

Truly disappointed tonight! Called on Wed. and made reservation for 6 at 7:00. Requested not to be at the round table at kitchen & front door (which was unfortunately where we have sat before). Was assured by the gentleman I talked with that we would not get that table because it doesn't seat six. At our arrival, hostess directed us to the table at DOORS! Immediately I told her of my conversation during my reservations. She apologized and had NO other tables unless we wanted to WAIT and squeeze into booth with table at the end. RIDICULOUS! EMBARRASSING after building up Michael's to my out of town guest! The table we had was a round table made for 5 & patio table covered with cheap plastic table cover (black garbage bag). Food was fair. Our server, Brittney was very nice. It wIll be hard to forget this experience in one of Rock Hill's finer restaurants. Very Sad!!

When my husband was alive we were some of the restuarants first customers and were very pleased getting to know the owner and enjoying their food.

We brought many people there as our guests and they continued to frequent the restuarant.

I myself have come in very frequently and on my last visit Elizabeth, the owners wife was there and I aked if the clam chowder would not be too salty as one time I could not eat it as it was over-salted and I get it very often and that was the first time I experienced that. Elizabeth said they do it the same every time and that the problem was with my teste buds and they do not over salt it. I do not have a problem with my taste buds and it was over salted that time. Couldn't she just say she was sorry I had that experience and she hoped I would not have that experience again instead of blaming me for not being able to know how things taste? It has made me not be able to return after being treated like that especially when she knew I had come in regularly?

Food is good. Wait staff very courteous. Lady owner is rude and appears not to enjoy working with the public. So I'll leave her alone

Great food noisey needs nice music. Owner (woman) not well like by her employees. Wouldn't serve late won't accommodate drinks late as night said it was illegal to serve alcohol after closing kitchen. Sounds like a cop out to me. Don't bother there are other places.

I have eaten at Micheal's frequently with my boyfriend/friends and have always enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. I took my mother for Mother's Day and was completely shocked and disappointed at our service. We came in a little late which was clear by the female owner's face as she sat us (mind you there was at least 2 other parties seated that still hadnt ordered), then she proceeded to sit us on the back corner away from anybody else (restaurant still very full). Finally, she(female owner) came by and greeted all the tables giving flowers to the mothers but completely ignored us. We came in, ordered, ate and left while 2 other parties were still there.....NEVER GOING BACK. Selective customer serivce in my opinion. Thanks for making my mom feel SO special :)

I herd about this place through a friend of mine.
All I can say is WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food is the best I've seen outside of Charlotte. Great Great Great...Place.....

I really enjoy this place. I can tell the staff there really tries hard. Even if you wait for a table, they offer apps and to get you a beverage. I have always found something new to try from the huge menu.

My husband and I love this restaurant!! Definitely our favorite in Rock Hill! The food is always wonderful, and the staff is always welcoming. While it has gotten somewhat crowded at times in the small space, it is great to see that they are gaining a loyal base of customers. I hope they continue the success- I'm definitely addicted to the menu!
