Tried to call for carryout. 20 calls in 10 minutes.....no answer.......walked in to order....55 minutes for a pizza....new management has destroyed an icon.

I've been going there often since the late 70's. Love Love Love this place! Best food around. Love their cheese steaks, grilled chicken, shish ka bob, and pizza's . I had streak a couple of times it was also great. What more can I say? It's one of my favorite!

Awful food, service, and they need to update their decor! First time I went there was in 1977 and it hasn't changed one bit!

One of the best all around restaurants you could ever hope to find. Everything on the menu is good, and they have some of the best service anywhere. Been eating there for 35+ years and can't think of a bad experience at all.

Very Good Food and Service...Im sad they took the eggs and black olives off the salad bar...But My family and I have never had a bad meal there..

First time we ever tried J & G and it is the last. We ordered the Veal Parm and it sucked! We couldn't ever choke it down. My son got the 8 oz steak and it was tough. Please stay away from there if you can.

Had dinner with the family tonight at J & G Pizza. The food was terrible. Had no flavor. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

Stopped in Manchester while traveling on business, front desk clerk at the hotel recommended the pork kabobs- they were Amazing!! I'm hoping to go back to that part of the country just to stop in and eat at J & G again!!

Hands down the best food and service in middle TN. Must try the cheese steak sandwich, to die for. If you have never tried this great place you must go soon. Always a pleasure going and did I mention the great customer service, not sure where J&G finds their help but they are amazing people, Thanks

Hubby and i went to Bell Buckle, TN to the annual Webb School Arts & Crafts Festival and decided to stay over night in Manchester. Best decision EVER. We found this restaurant and WOW!! Best lasagna I have EVER eaten. AWESOME place, great price, & service. Hubby had a steak that melted in your mouth. So , wish I wasn't so far away! Def. be visting in the near future. You guys need a Facebook page=)

Amazing food and dedicated service. Don't let the outside fool you. It's a local favorite. (You could tell by the consistently full parking lot.) Highly recommended!

I have ate at J & G a couple of times, but the last time I was there it was terrible service and the manager was rude. We ordered I food, which was good, and when we went to pay there was a problem with our bill. I asked the server and she laughed it off and said oops guess I should of been more clearer, but didn't fix it. Then one of the mangers cam out a women and asked what was wrong. I told her the problem. She looked at me and said well its in the menu didn't you read it and I said last time I ate here they didn't charge me this much. She proceeded to say that I was incorrect and didn't know what I was talking about. So, my messed up bill stayed the same and I had to pay for their mistake. I was furious. I doubt I will go back again and I wish the manager would of acted like she cared instead of just brushing me off like she did!!!!!!!!

Classy, elegant restaurant in all aspects, and the food is GREAT! I could eat there every night! We've been eating here since I was born about 28 years ago and have not been disappointed yet!
If you're in Manchester you should try it!

I'm a local gal, and J&G is a near weekly ritual for my husband and me. Between the two of us, we have tried nearly every item on the menu, and you absolutely can't go wrong no matter what you choose to order! The Pizza is phenomenal, and when my older brothers and their families are in from out of town, we ALWAYS have a J&G Pizza night. The cheesesteak sandwich, spaghetti, charbroiled chicken, steak, hamburgers....all great....i meant it when i said there are no bad menu choices. My 90 year old grandmother has been going to J&G since it opened, and now that she doesn't cook much for herself, she has J&G on speed dial!! It's great for a date, a family with kids of any age, or for a group of friends meeting up for a meal. The family who owns and personally manages the restaurant will take care of you when you are there.....I agree with the other reviewer who said it was like "their family invited your family over for a meal". Another great thing is the prices are so very good.....lower than the typical chain restaurants....and the food is better!

J & G is one of my favorite restaurants! Some of my favorite meals are the J & G sandwich with french fries, Pork kabobs with rice, and of course the PIZZA. The owners are awesome and really care about their customers. You must stop by J & G whenever you are in Manchester!

This is the best place to eat in the US. I know it's that good. They have the best pizza, cheese steak sandwiches, chicken, steak.....I could keep going, but you get the point. I recommend this restaurant to anyone with an appetite and a mouth. You will not be disappointed!

Gotta say, of all the places to eat in Middle TN, this is my favorite. Its a great Mom and Pop kind of place that has a phenomenal salad bar, great cheese steak sandwiches and amazing pizzas. I once asked the owner where they get their frozen pizza bases from and he laughed and said they make them from scratch every day! Its hard to find anywhere like this anymore... Highly recommend it and i always take out of towners there, they love it too!
