We start this story calling it: TOOOOO BAD!! On mothers day ( Sunday ) Holllie wanted Hunan Village for dinner, so we went when we entered the restaurant we noticed it was fairly busy but not packed but busy, we waited to be seated 5 min passed no one came 10 min came no one came several phone calls came in and rang but never answered. 15 min came I suggested we leave still no one came several people came in for take out no one came finally after 20 min ( man I have allot of patience) we was told they didn't have any tables although all the booths were empty. Twice I told the lady we would take a booth and finally she said we could have one, menus were given and we once again waited another 15 min before anyone came to take our order. we then waited another 15 min to get our drinks and an appetizer oh did I mention another place setting that did not come until way into the dinner. The poor people that came after waited another 20 min before any orders started to come out. the large table next to us asked for more drinks but was never served it seemed they asked for a box and finally out of desperation got their own. Oh Wait it gets better... Finally after being there for now almost an hour our meals came but wait only two came the third was a magical trip somewhere else it seemed as 10 min later it came .. oh and refills well 15 min after that boy was i thirsty..The meals themselves were cold and geasey some of the vegies still frozen myself and Hollie really did not eat ours and our son whom I went and got a box for took his home to heat to eat..When I finally got the ticket I told the guy at the register how things went he said too busy please pay, This really upset me so for two days I attempted to contact the owner I called the number on the receipt and never could get them to answer. I found another number and called finally the owner answered and this is where it got more interesting.. I told him we came in on mothers day he responded right off was we was very busy that day TOOOOBAD wow wait what ?? I told him how long we waited he said TOOOOBAD!!, I told him how the food was he said TOOOBAD!! i told him i have been in the hospitality industry for years and in most cases a business that dropped the ball would attempt to fix things with their customers.. he said "WE FIX" I asked how he said none of my business, I said but what about my situation I felt wronged and felt what I got was not worth what I paid, he said TOOOBAD!!! and hung up on me .. oh I did forget to mention that all those waiting for take out one Dr. mainly waited over an hour before he got his order. Now I have been in this business a long time and I always have taken care of customers I myself will never go to this restaurant or even recommend it to anyone in town.. hope you all read this and avoid this type of attitude.. there are allot of great places here in town that welcome and work hard to keep us coming back... Hunan Village good luck !!

We have been going to this restraunt for years and and no other Chinese cuisine compares. Try the Mongolian Beef, it is the best!
Service is always great also, they treat you just like part of the family.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. In fact, we have moved to the East coast and whenever we get back to Tooele, we eat here.
