I love shopping at the local businesses. Jim’s place is the best donut shop in Dayton.

I went to the shop because my co-workers have been raving about how good the donuts were at Jim's Donut Shop. The Donuts were good however; when I got home I noticed that there were tiny bugs in the box that she put the Donuts in. I immediately went back to the shop and the employee apologized and gave me another batch of Donuts (1dozen, which I purchased in the beginning). My disappointed came in when she did not offer anything to me for the bugs being in the box. This would warrant additional donuts given or even not charging me for the donuts. I forgot to mention that my Mother had eaten half of one of the donuts before I realized that there were bugs in the box and, I even informed the employee of this when I returned them. Let me just say, if you want people to patronize your establishment, it is important to provide good customer service and word of mouth goes along way.

Bring back the donut makers of the 70's and 80's. The donuts are old tasting, greasy, missing filling for chocolate iced cream (non creamed) filled donuts. Now the smoke taste is obviously gone, maybe that was the trick to wonderful FRESH donuts????
