The sandwiches, wraps, and salads at Cuisine a la Carte are made with consistently fresh vegetables like avocado, sprouts, roasted red peppers, and leafy lettuce.
The variety of cheeses (including havarti, swiss, feta) and breads (including pumpernickle and rye) are artistically balanced with homemade spreads (like tahini spread or chutney).
Saving room for the soup of the day (made fresh on site) can be hard, but saving money on a gourmet meal can be easy. They will box your sandwich or wrap with a homemade side and dessert for about $8.
Don't let the small store front fool you. They specialize in take out and catering (delivery for 10 or more), but they do have a few tables if you would like to sit for lunch.
They are not open for dinner, but they offer an excellent selection of frozen entrees (prepared on site) to take home.
