I try to get breakfast there a lot and several times no one has showed up to run registers only the cook is there so he can’t serve. It’s sad. I’m all about hiring people for a “second chance” but if they’re not gonna work fire them and get someone who will show up

I visited Dairy Queen in Big Stone Gap this morning. I was beyond shocked that a young man was working the entire place by himself. There were no other employees there whatsoever.
Totally a disgrace that he was there having to work all alone.
The management should be replaced by that young man.
Another customer told me that it was the second time she had been there and witnessed him working alone, but she said many have told her that he has to do that regularly.
Shame on the management for that.
That young man was as nice a person as I've ever met.
