My friends and I eat here on a regular bases. Best pizza and subs. Friendly staff. We enjoy our lunch when we visit here. Plan to take a hour for lunch always busy.

Me and my family order from there ALOT!!! I use to love their food, has gotten worse lately! So tonight at 9:50pm I call to order my dad a sub, I looked at a menu AND Google to make sure we were not ordering too close to closing, I use to be a waitress/bartender so I know they have to stay longer. The lady that answers the phone first off she sounds kind of aggravated, she was very short and says "Gino's", so I say "I would like to place an order to pick up." she says "ok" so I am about to go on with my sub order when I hear her say something to another person so I know she's not listening so I stop and say "I'm sorry?" She says,"we only have pizza since we about to close!" I say,"have you're hours changed because what I am looking at says open until 11pm on sat?" She says,"NO! We close at 10pm!" Ok so if they close at 10pm and I am calling at 9:50pm why wouldn't you want to make a sandwich instead of a pizza?! Needless to say my dad didn't want pizza and he will probably be going in to talk to someone tomorrow, even though from the other reviews I'm guessing they will not really care. We will also never order from that place again!! My father has been through 5 spine surgeries I really hope he does not get stressed out tomorrow when visiting. I have been in the customer service business for 19 yrs, I would never EVER talk to a customer the way this lady did, especially if I am not able to serve a customer to their satisfaction. She has to know that most of the business for that establishment comes from word of mouth and if she doesn't want to be in the unemployment line she should probably get some customer service classes under her belt, or a better attitude! I have worked for everything from McDonalds to office management in transportation to tech support for a very popular tech company so I have had my fair share of mean, rude, nasty, and some threatening customers so I know how hard it can be, but if that place wants to stay in business I suggest they get some new waitresses or new owners if it was an owner!!! Good luck Gino's!!!

Oh and they should probably change their hours online and on their menus if they no longer close at 11pm and they now close at 10pm. It would absolutely help them not get phone calls for orders at 9:50pm!!!

Long story short, I will not be back.....

My boyfriend and I have lived in Chester for a while but only discovered Gino's a couple of months ago. It was then we fell in love with their pizza and cheese steaks. They are amazing! (The food is far from the problem with this establishment). Soon this restaurant was a almost weekly destination for us seeing as we both worked full time and didn't always feel like busting out a four coarse meal. The customer service was Never top notch (they were definitely not people pleasers) but we refused to let that deter us from our favorite place....until....one day after getting off work I decided to pick up dinner, I ordered a large pizza w/ half sweet peppers half pepperoni, the lady agreed that she understood and read back my order as usual. I dropped in shortly after. Before paying I asked if I could have a couple cups of rach dressing for dipping, this lady cut me the ugliest look, huffed, and stomped away. When she came back w/ my ranch she glared at me and barked "next time ask when you order, we are busy".... I was the only one there...(strike one) I however apologized and went on my way brushing it off as she must be having a bad day. When I got home however to my surprise, I had a cheese pizza... ( :( ) ....(strike two) no sweat I called back to inform the wonderful Gino's staff and was given to the owner's wife who had taken my order. She promptly began to tell me that I was lying and a cheese pizza was what I had ordered in the first place...this time I was calm...I explained that I did not want this pizza and I would even be happy to pay more for my order to get what I wanted and since I lived down the street I could come back and exchange it. The women then cursed and put down the phone to "go double check the other pizzas to see if my order was mixed up to see if I was telling the truth not trying to steal from them". A few seconds later she got back on to tell me my order WAS there and I could come pick it up, then hung up the phone (STRIKE 3) when I came in to exchange the food she shoved the box back at me and said keep it. Needless to say I was done but a few weeks later my boyfriend got that itch when he goes to pick up his pizza the same lovely women says " oh your foods ready you ordered anchovies right?" with a snicker, he replied no and she says "oh I'm just waiting for you to get mad" (HOW RUDE!!??) Weeks went by until tonight...I am exhausted and had a very trying day. I said I wouldn't do it but called in an order anyway, who do I get on the phone? My friend rude lady. I ordered cheese steaks, going over the order TWICE....get home and its completely not even close. I was so done...not so, calmly this time, I called back to let them know that they had messed up my order once again. My buddy screamed at me through the phone "What's wrong this time!?" She also stated that her husband had taken my order and that meant he had screwed it up. Not having it in me to argue with thee lunatic any longer I just told her I would be there soon to get my money back and this time I hung up first while she rambled on. When I got there she refused to give me my money until she told me wshat I had done wrong, she also swore up and down that the sub's in my hand contained what was correctly written on the ticket, that is until I opened them on the counter and revealed what was the truth...she then sighed, stated that she did not have an attitude with me.I again asked for my money which she finally gave to me before I walked out never to return. What I don't understand is how they could be so disrespectful after we kept coming back? End of rant...and helpful tip, if you want exceptional service and great food try Pietro's Pizza down the street. ;-)

Food is awesome but the service is terrible. I get my food to go so i only have to deal with the rude people on the phone.

Excellent pizza and chicken fettucine alfredo! Now is our family's favorite Italian restaurant!

Terrible! Waitress spilled a glass of tea on our pizza and insisted she didn't do it. Manager made us pay for our drinks when we insisted we would not eat nor pay for it.

If they can spill drink in your food right in front of your eyes and lie about it to your face, imagine what they are doing to your food behind your back!

Go to Pietro's a few miles down the road on Osborne & Jeff Davis!
