I ordered steak which was delicious. But the potatoes were soupy and definitely not real. I ordered onions and mushrooms which I did not get and I was offered the choice of soup or salad to go with my meal so I asked what soups and I got charged for the soup. When I called to let them know my experience, they offered me a $6 gift card..

Not really my kind of place. Menu is lacking and no substitutions . I greatly dislike garlick, and their only offering was garlic mashed potatoes. Steak comes out smothered in garlick butter. It was my birthday so I ordered filet mignon, and all I got was a filet mignon smothered in garlic butter on my plate, nothing else. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, but the patronage was a bit proletariat. Men sitting around in dirty clothes and not taking their hats off. Steak was fair, but not worth the price. Definitely not a first class outfit.

We ate there Thursday nite and the french onion soup was so salty you could eat it, the meatloaf was dry the marina sauce was tasteless like they open a can of tomatoes and dump it on the pasta, that place used to be good what the hell happened.... however, the waitress was good

Never had a bad meal until this past Friday night. Had take out haddock. Very dry and ends were hard. Maybe take out is not the best idea!

I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday night and they have some younger servers that don't seem to know the business very well and don't clean tables after people finish eating and are very slow
serving you as well and don't even set the tables when you are seated. I had to take silverware off a table next to me. They seem to have a manager with long blonde hair that jokes around with them and doesn't care much about doing her job other than to show off in front of her young friend servers.
On the other hand, I had dinner there a week before that on a Wednesday night and was served by an older professional woman server that was the best I have ever seen in that restaurant. She was the reason I went back!
The owner should take a hard look at how his young waitstaff is treating his customers because I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing this. He must be losing business.

i have worked here and it would be in your healths best interest to steer clear. ive been told to serve things that landed on the floor along with frozen lobster that was past its expiration

When Sam's first opened we had great experiences here and great food! Unfortunately, the past few times we have dined here it has been horrible. Last nights dinner was a disaster. I had to ask for utensils, there was hair in the mashed potatoes, no bread was brought out for salad/soup. Unfortunately, our whole dining experience was extremely less than what we were hoping for. This was the 3rd time we have tried our luck here hoping that it was just a fluke but it has been proven time over time nothing has changed. It's a shame really because at one time it really was a great dining experience.
