Found restaurant on the web - Driving through town. Very good pork sandwich, although should also come with barbecue sauce. Potato salad was tasty but did not taste homemade. Very good food for the price. Will definitely stop in again!

The BEST barbeque for miles! They are the only place I know that can make a sandwich plain and it will still be awesome! the turkey is great and so are the chicken plates and ribs! my mouth is watering just talking about it now.

This is the only place in town to get a BBQ sandwich. Other places (I won't name names, but they're right up the street) try to sell theirs at discounted prices once a week, but I still head to sweet Southern Hickory. Nothing beats grabbing a couples sandwiches and sneaking in an ice cold beer on a warm spring day and taking advantage of the outside dining. One a scale of 5 swine, this little hole in the wall gets a 6! I even find myself driving up from Birmingham to grab a weekends worth.
