I just left the Bull Pen, before anyone else goes there, do NOT get a Rib Eye steak. I just tried to eat the toughest steak I have had in a long long time. At $23.00, at least the piece of meat should be edible, I got it medium to be safe, better luck eating my shoe. Not all was lost, my wife got the grilled ham and it was GREAT!!! I guess it is hit or miss, depending upon what you eat, but being known for steaks, TRY HARDER!!!

Our party of eight ate under the big horns over the fireplace. I have to say that was the best steak I've had. I ordered the ribeye.I truely recommend this place. Friendly people and great service. I am coming back even though I live in Gardendale.

I had been looking forward to trying the Bull Pen Steak house for a long time. My wife and I and our best friends final got a chance to go last night (Sat. May 26 2018 ). I was disappointed in my meal I ordered a 12 Oz Rib eye well done. When I got it half of it was red, I don't eat red meat, sent it back to have it cooked some more and when I got it back it was so tough I could not eat it. I got my bubble busted, service was great but that is about all I can say.

We enjoyed take out ribs last Saturday at a family gathering.
The meat was very tender and very little fat, a wonderful smoky flavor.
I am sure these are the best ribs I have eaten in the last 50 years. We will be ordering again.

Worst steak ever tried to eat took one hour to get order steak was very tough

While visiting from NC our friends took took us to the Bull Pin and we were not disappointed. The meal and service was great. On our next visit we will request to return for another wonderful meal.

Worst service ever. .save yourself heartache and money. Stay home and eat peanut butter sandwich.
