We stopped by for the first time on our way to the beach and had lunch it was really good
The buttermilk pie is wonderful
We are planning on stopping buy for lunch on our way home

We stop here anytime we can on the way to or from the beach.....we have even driven down from Smiths AL just to eat here. Best food ever. We even pick up a plate to go and take it home for the next days dinner on the way back from the beach. Bernard is the best, he saved me an order of dumplings one day and if you ever ate them you would know why I called ahead and ask them to save me some.

Barb's Country Kitchen is it under new ownership. I decided to try it.Got 3 vegetables and bread was 7.50.Got take out and they did not offer water or ask me if I wanted a drink to go.Got to my car and they had not included utensils to eat.They dip the food and give small portions. Food is very salty. Would give them a 2 out of 5.
