First off, the staff was extremely friendly. Secondly, the food was fresh and tasted amazing. Thirdly, their banana pudding tasted like it was prepared in Jesus’s kitchen! Definitely will be back!

Always a great meal in friendly family atmosphere. Or order ahead and take home on Saturdays to watch SEC games!

I have eaten here several times leaving satisfied with the service and the food. My boyfriend and I ate there yesterday, there were 7 people eating inside as well, drive thru had a few vehicles and several carry outs. We finally received our food, after being skipped by a table of 4. My plate was good, loved the patato salad and fried mushrooms! My boyfriend's $11 hamburger was dry, he said it was hard to eat, he wasn't satisfied at all! This is my complaint. While we were there, a young guy came in there with his little baby girl, she was at the age of just learning how to walk, very well behaved. As he was leaving, he asked nicely if he went to his truck to get his baby's bottle, could they fill it up halfway with milk, that's all he asked for, was for half a bottle of milk. There were no other kids in the restaurant, so there wouldn't have been other kids wanting free milk. I don't know if it was the manager or cook, but her answer was, it will be $2.00. So he left and didn't return. $2.00 WHAT??? After all we're going through with covid and all he asked for was a little milk. He did buy a plate, he didn't just walk in and ask for milk for his baby. On the way home, we were talking about that and the more we talked about it, the more disappointed I was with Chris's Barbq. It wouldn't have hurt them to even fill that bottle all the way up! They wouldn't have missed that little bit of milk, you dont know what that young guy was going through and how can u not want to help a baby. Shame on that restaraunt😠😠 Where's the kindness, all I saw was greed, with just ok food and high priced plates, but couldn't give a baby a little milk, they turn my stomach! They lost us as customers, we'll go out of our way next time to find somewhere to eat, never returning there! If they would have said sure, no problem, that would have made them look good in my eyes, we would have been back. Oh boy, I could go on and on, SHAME ON CHRIS'S BAR-B-QUE.

Never saw anyone wiping down tables either 😲 We walked in and the trash can at the door was full, but someone finally emptied it, not something u want to see when u just walk in!

Chris's barbecue has some of the best pulled pork around. The burgers are okay but definitely come for the pork.

Every time I order from this place my order gets srewed. Today I confirmed my order once placed sent my son to pick it up and again it was wrong. I dont know and could care less who owns it but when I called it was a debate I just hung up. Lesson learned I will not be spending my money or patronizing Chris again.

I have grown up eating bar b que here and I have always been accustomed to it. The food is okay, but it is not worth the prices you pay. Recently I had a pork sandwich but the meat was dry. Do NOT order corn nuggets you barely get any for the price. Do buy banana pudding it is fabulous.

I had always heard that Chris's was a good place to eat,so my wife and I decided to try it and it was terrible. The service was awful and the food was not very good. The camp stew was watery, and the bbq sandwich was dry and bland. We asked for bbq sauce and the girl behind the counter just went on talking with her co-worker and never gave us any. Also it was not the cleanest place either.Lesson learned,we will not go there again and spend our money on sub-par service and food.

I have alway enjoyed food at Chris. Great service and you never leave hungry. Sauce is different but delicious. Best banana pudding in the world!

This was my Bar-B-Que even though I live in Montgomery. Had large order, asked for extra sauce and didn't receive any. When we went all the way back, we only received one little cup of sauce. If you have eaten there, you know how GREAT the sauce is and was very disappointed when we only received a small amount. When I called to inform them of their mistake, all they wanted to do is argue with you. Family owned companies, feel they can treat the customer how ever they feel, well this LONG time customer will no longer visit their place because of that. It isn't cheap in my opinion and would think they would have more respect for their customers and at least apologize or make it right! So long to you!

I have eaten there several times. The people they have working there are some of the rudest I have ever encountered! You have to wait forever on your food and then the food is not that great either. When you combine everything, it's not worth the trip! Also, it's not the cleanest place I've seen either! They actually allow customers to go behind the counter to help themselves! YUCK!

I have been eating there for many years and the food has always been great. They have done a great job preserving what the Chris' has always been in prattville. I think they are probably glad that whoever that is below no longer works for them. Keep up the good work Scotty and Christina!

As everyone knows, Chris's food has a great reputation and many life long customers. However, most people do not know what goes on behind the counter. I worked there almost a year, and it was the worst job anyone could ever have. As employs at Chris's , one can expect to be screamed and cussed at, treated like a dog and told how stupid and useless u are on a daily basis. Scotty has a temper and goes off over any little thing. His money is always far more important than the actual customer. At one point, he even thru a glass bowl at me. And I have the scar on my leg to prove it, other employes and I have came out of the back crying because of Scotty Taylor. And his wife Christina is just as bad. Most of the time she makes it clear she doesn't want to be there. She doesn't like dealing with customers or their complaints. She made the employes deal with it and then yelled at us for the way we handled it. I have on many occasions had customers tell me how sorry they are that I have to work there. She makes working there feel like high school again, with the rumors and stupid little remarks . If u aren't her favorite, ur gonna be treated aweful. Just the way it works around there. And the kitchen staff are saints in the owners eyes. They do no wrong. I've seen one of them drop a steak on the floor & just pic it up, rinse with water & throw it on a plate, while Christina was watching!! The quality of the food is questionable, considering on many occasions, I've seen the cooks touch their clothing, face or hair and go back to work with no gloves on. Working at Chris's was the worst experience of my life, and I sure won't be going back there to eat!

I eat there several times a month and food has always been good. The only bad thing I can say is that they say they open at 6 for breakfast, but they are not always open at that time. I finally stopped going by before 7am.

Unfortunately, a BBQ place with delicious food and a long history in Prattville has new owners with HORRENDOUS customer service!!My wife and I stopped by after a night of black Friday shopping for breakfast at 6:05.(the sign on the roof had the hours posted and they were supposed to open at 6:00a.m.) We weren't sure if they would be open the day after Thanksgiving so we tried to call first but got no answer. When we pulled into the drive through we sat for almost 10 minutes while the worker who was less than 5 feet away ignored us! I tapped on the window then walked over and knocked on the door and finally someone came to the window. She yelled at me "If you beat my window again I'm calling the cops!" I asked her who the owner was and she said"I am!" then slammed the window shut. I knocked once more because it was now 20 minutes past 6 and I still didn't know if or when they were going to open. The police came, I told them what happened, they laughed it off and told me to have a good day. I came back at noon and asked for the owner. Scott Taylor came up front, I introduced myself and said I would like to talk about what happened this morning. He said the woman who yelled at me was his wife and that I should leave and not bother coming back!!! These people have NO idea how to run a business and re going to run Chris's BBQ out of business with their treatment of customers. We will NOT be back as long as these two people work there and I STRONGLY encourage anyone else to go to any of the other local BBQ resturaunts, were you can be treated with, AT THE VERY LEAST, a small amount of respect!
