The food is probably ok if you ever get to sample it. My husband and I decided to go several months ago. We entered the restaurant and was told to pick a seat. The waitress came and took the drink order, and disappeared. They were somewhat busy but after 20 minutes we decided to leave. Went to pay for our drinks and was told they were on the house after we explained the situation. We tried to give them another chance. Stopped by one night during the week recently. Was told to pick our table. We chose a booth in the corner. They were not busy at all. We had waited about 10 minutes and more people came in behind us and sat down. There was one waitress in the "bar" area and obviously she was not supposed to leave it even though there were only a couple of people there. Then there was one waitress that was in the open area. She went back and forth waiting on a group that was already there and stopped to take the drink order from the group that came in after us. My husband made eye contact with her and we assumed she would come back for our order. She came back to give the table their drinks and take their order, ignoring us. Not sure how long we sat there in all but we had enough. We got up and walked out. It's not worth having to run a waitress down. I told the front desk what had happened and went out the door. The manager came out to the parking lot to apologize and offer us a coupon for a free lunch which we declined. Two strikes and your out in our book. Won't make the effort again. :(

Today, Thanksgiving 2013, my husband, Harvey Armstrong and his truck driving partner, Ron, were looking for a place to have Thanksgiving dinner. A vehicle complication, last week, caused them not to be able to return to Florida to celebrate with their families. They pulled into the parking lot of Larry's Real Pit bar-B-Q, noticed about 20 cars in the parking lot. As they entered the restaurant and inquired as to whether they were open, they were advised they were not. Evidently, the restaurant was being used by the family of the owner/manager?, but my husband and Ron were invited to stay and have Thanksgiving with their family. My husband said the food was awesome, but the best part was the Christian fellowship and an extended hand to total strangers. It took a very bleak day for the two of them and redeemed it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.

This restaurant has well food, PERFECT service, the value is poor, and they have a wonderful atmosphere. The food is sometimes overdone, and the server waited on me Hand and Foot. The price is over 13 dollars a steak, and the atmosphere is a true country restaurant.
