love love love Tonys Spunky steer....quality steak houses are almost a thing of the past . Thank heaven for this one . Love the salad love the creamy baked potato ..love the steaks . the flavor is exceptional. love the decor . reminds me of EARLY CALIFORNIA .. the days of spanish landgrants and vaqueros. and ranchos....so glad we have this gem ...cant say enough good things

My family and I have been here many times. As a matter of fact, everytime you ask my kids where they would like to go as a reward for good grades they ask for Spunky's. If you want a great steak, ask for Nacho (the chef) to make it for you. We always call ahead to make sure he is there.

I go there about twice a month and have always had good service. They take your name and put it on a list like most restaurants and take you in order. The food is great for the price and always tastes fresh. I enjoy it as much as higher priced places.

The service is awful. The hostesses at present are TOTALLY incompetent, not knowing what customers came in first and not seating the customers in order. We were told that the wait for two would be 10 minutes. We waited 25 minutes and we were still not seated. We asked to speak to the manager and she didn't bother to come out to see what the problem was or to see what we wanted to complain about. Rather she hid in the back room and all the hostesses did was to point their fingers at each other as to whose fault it was for us not being seated. This is incompetence at it's best!! Round Table Pizza has better service than this!!
