Best bagels around! Good coffee too, Green Mountain. I've been getting bagels here since jr. high and I'm in my 40s now! It's a cozy little hoke-in-the wall with friendly staff and great food!

Bagel Alley is awesome! Great bagels, and I find the folks working there to be VERY nice & friendly.
I do agree with the person who mentioned the omlettes being bland. They should add salt/pepper/butter, agreed. But the bagels and other sandwiches are outstanding!

The bagel omelet sandwich I had this morning was OK. The bagel itself was good but there wasn't any flavor to it at all. I had the veggie omelet and it was full of veggies but there wasn't any butter or salt or pepper or ANY seasoning at all on the sandwich. Very bland. A disappointment for sure.

The bagel itself is good if you can get past the mountain of cream cheese. They don't except cards which is inconvenient. The employees there are so unfriendly and miserable.

They food is good but service is poor in that the employees are pretty unfriendly

If you can get past the dirt, dust, and grime covered ceiling and walls you can enjoy one of the better bagels North of the Mass border. Seriously, it looks like the owners haven't cleaned or invested in the place since the 80's. They're probably just milking it for all it's worth. Could me something special with a little reinvestment into the business.

Marcia, your bagels have always been the best and your cookies are amazing but it's your smile that brings us back to Nashua from Port St. Lucie, FL.

The bagels here are amazing, as are the sandwiches, but I have to say, your pickles blow. They taste more like salty cucumbers. Fix that and you'll be all set.

After Big Boy's bagels in Plaistow, NH closed, I didn't think I'd have another bagel of that caliber ever again. A co-worker brought in a variety of bagels and veggie cream cheese from Bagel Alley today and I have to say, they are pretty darn amazing. The veggie cream cheese isn't as great as Big Boy's was, but it was still very yummy. Thumbs up!

The best bagel in New England. I would never try another bagel after eating one of these. The atmosphere is quirky and friendly; a great place for breakfast or lunch. Throughout my years going here I have never had a bad bagel. They are the best! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I must say the bagel sandwiches are fantastic here BUT after eating here a few times I will not return because these people DO NOT wear gloves when preparing the sandwiches. I find that very lazy and disturbing. The lady that was taking orders (handling money-super dirty) then proceeded to make a sandwich with her germy hands (I saw gloves on the counter-but what good do they do if they are not worn?). If I owned this business I would make certain the "food handlers" always prepare foods in a sanitary manner. This is unacceptable and something should b done before someone gets sick! There are millions of food illnesses every year because of places like this!

I have read many of the reviews below and I agree with most of them except any that claim mediocre. These are amazing authentic bagels. I am a big fan although I do feel people are not very friendly behind the counter and the prices are a bit high. I still go back because there are no better bagel places around (There never were!).

If you order a bagel with, say, cream cheese you'll receive a generous amount of cheese. The bagel itself, unfortunately, will be mediocre. Bagels should be boiled prior to baking, a practice I doubt is adhered to at Bagel Alley, and hence the poor quality.

You'd think that a shop that specializes in bagels would try to come up with a better product.

Incidentally, don't try reading your morning newspaper here. The shop is old and dingy, has no windows, and only a few low-wattage bulbs overhead.

Even New York City doesn't have better bagels!

The only place I will get a bagel. The everything with veggie cream cheese! Hands down the best bagel in the area.

A great little place. Everything one would want with fantastic Bagels. It's out of my way but well worth the trip. Huge, delicious, Bagels.

way overpriced and the lady at the counter wasn't friendly

I grew up on the bagels from here. I just wich that there was a way to get them shipped to the east coast..

most amazing bagel i have tasted in a long time

I have been going to Bagel Alley for as long as I have lived in the Southern NH area. I have no problem taking the drive to get some of the amazing spinach & herb and "everything" bagels they make. I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime and have not once found any as tasty!!! As for the pricing- yes it's gone up- but then again- EVERYTHING has had increases. I still find their pricing WELL WORTH what you get in return! They've got a life long customer in me!

I only can judge by what Bagel Alley offers at the Farmers Market in Westford. GREAT GREAT fresh HUGE and DELICIOUS bagels. Very social and friendly, great service. If you buy a "bakers dozen" you are getting your moneys worth for THE most tasty bagels around!

amazing bagels!!!!

review_stars 06/29/2008 - Hungry in Hudson
Pretty good bagel but the prices are now way too much for what you get. This place used to be a value but then they opened about 9 new stores and they all failed but the original. I think we are paying for those failures.

Over priced

These are authentic bagels-the way bagels are supposed to taste. Crusty on the outside-fresh, light and chewy on the inside. Thank goodness for Bagel Alley!!!!! Great servicead prices too!!

review_stars 02/22/2008 - MenuPix User
Bagel Alley has the best bagels I have ever eaten. They are huge and crusty on the outside, but light and airy inside.
They also have a wide variety of cream cheese flavors and all different kinds of fillings from omelets to cold cuts. Prices vary depending on the fillings.
The service is super fast and friendly. The atmosphere is fun too--it has older formica booths and wood-panelled walls as well as *bagel-people* artwork up on the walls.
It's one of those *hidden jewels* that is easy not to see in passing, but is right off the main road and well worth the small detour.

Good for fresh bagels and sandwiches.
Bagels are a bit heavier than say Dunkin Donuts bagels.
