I'm from New York and have lived in Santa Barbara for 15 years. Am always on the lookout for N.Y. Style pizza. Gino's isn't bad compared to everything else around, but the flour dough could be a little tastier. The best in town is actually the only one that dares to advertise their pizza as being N.Y. style, and it's Rocco's, "Uncle Rocco's" to be exact. Don't be put off by the prices, which seem a little high.

I moved here to Santa Barbara 5 months ago from NY, NY. I am used to great thin crust pizza. People around here suggested many places that I guess they thought were good. If they thought these places were good they just have no F****N idea what good pizza is. Rusty's sucks, Paisano's sucks, Pizza Mizza sucks. etc. Gino's isn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it is the best pizza in the Santa Barbara area. It's the only pizza I'll eat here. Think I'm kidding about what NY pizza is like, visit Queens,NY and see for yourself.

There is nothing better than Gino's Pizza. It's like visiting Naples for the evening. Wonderful thin crust and great flavors. Healthy pizza...yum

Gino's Sicilian Express was great. I was in SB for the first time and ate there for lunch and dinner on a couple of the days I was there. Great food and ingredients. Very friendly staff.

I am from nyc which means I know good pizza. I am sitting down right now at ginos writing this review waiting for my extra large cheese pizz. I was greeted like. Regular followed by twelve minutes later my order then followed by a amazing pizza. This is the closest ny pizza I have had in california and I would advise w everybody try this pizza out. Got to go now and devor my pizza. Go Ginos

I can't believe the pizza was this good! I have been on the search "quasi" New York style pizza with sauce that doesn't taste like ketchup. I read the great reviews on Gino's on several foodie websites and decided that I would go for it. I'm so glad I did! Everything from the crust (crunchy not soggy) to the toppings were top grade and I am VERY picky about sauce (I usually order no sauce on my pies) and this was the best authentic pizza sauce which was tangy and fresh and not over sauced. If you want to try a new pizza place, be confident that I have done the research for you and Gino's is definitely a winner!

Top 3 pizza in Santa Barbara. Great little place. Always a good choice

I think they have THE best, authentic Italian, east coast style pizza in town. Staff is always friendly & efficient. (Meatball sandwich is good too) Wish they were a bit more generous with the sauce on the pie, though. A fews years ago they seemed to cut back and it is "painted on" pretty thin now. That is the best part!

WOW!!! As soon as I walked in I felt as if I was walking into "Little Italy" Im not sure if it is the ingredients or the way the food is prepared but they do it right at Ginos.
Very laid back atmosphere and for a great price.

Gino's has the best pizza on the Central Coast, especially if you love New York style sauces.
