This place is great! I give it 5 stars because it is the best option on the Hill for a tasty, fresh and reasonably priced (bordering on cheap) meal. I cannot personally speak to the Pho (not my cup of broth :), but I really enjoy the Udon noodles and the Vietnamese sandwiches are awesome - they are so huge, that I usually split one with a friend. Additionally, I like the thinner hoisin sauce - it is great for putting on the sandwiches and not too thick or salty.

This restaurant is great. Nice people, cheap food, good food. The pho is amazing! Definitely try the pho if you go!

The Pho was very good

I really enjoyed the Pho, I ordered the small bowl with seafood, and I was full half way through because the small bowl was not that small. The prices weren't bad at all, and I got to enjoy boba tea for the first time, that was a good experience for me. The restaurant was clean, and the service was not bad. The cashier was friendly. It was also busy which to me is a good sign that I won't be disappointed, especially when a restaurant is located near many different Asian and other types of food joints. This experience made me very happy.
I know that some people on this msg board had a bad experience there according to their reviews, but I think they should give the place a second chance, who knows, they might change their minds!

The small Pho is your choice of broth and ingreidents, and is a big meal for around five bucks. The Singapore noodles are fabulous, as are the dumplings. Good food for cheap. Nice people.

The biggest downfall is that they add water to the Hoisin and Sriracha bottles to stretch them out and save money. This is a sin anywhere but esp. at a pho joint b/c it's all about the concentration of flavors in the broth. It's also gross and speaks to some of the other questionable hygene practices. The broth is OK. The well done flank and rare steaks are similir and just OK. The tendon was mostly fat and had way too many bone fragments.

Surprisingly there are 6 places serving pho in Boulder right now. Chez Thuy, The Asian Seafood Deli, Fat Cat Noodle House, Kim's To Go, Bimbadoo and here. Chez Thuy is bar far the best--the rare is bloody, fresh and amazing--try it to go. Other than that it's down to Broomfield for the real stuff. The kid at the register is a full-of-attitude, gang bang wannabe who does not aim to please.

The idea of the fresh bar (for additional veggies) is great, but the veggies are almost always old (possibly a few days old). If you order an appetizer (like egg rolls), they sometimes come out after your meals. Finally, if it isn't on the menu, you can't have it (i.e.: I asked for a roll but was told I could not have it as it wasn't on the menu....the roll does come as part of a sandwich they serve). For being one of the only pho places in Boulder, it's pretty good food, but there is much better in surrounding cities. Because the other restaurants are at least 15 minutes away, we frequent this place often.
