Great bagels and new cream cheeses. we tried the wicked garlic in the blueberry. outstanding !
The new owners and staff are also very pleasant.

My family frequents this bagel store. The "older" woman (pretty sure she is younger than me haha) is actually amazingly friendly. I have had many pleasant conversations with her. And the owners are so nice. I have never had an a negative experience which is why I sat down to write this. The reviews I saw are not reflective of the atmosphere and spirit of the place and I felt compelled to share my positive experiences there for many years. PS if they don't have the flavor bagel you are wanting they almost always offer to bake it fresh for you.

Will never go back there. They are rude dont smile. The older woman is rude and has no personality and always looks pissed.

Tasteless carrot muffin..... actually, it DID have a (very strange) taste. It was inedible. Woman at register barked out orders to her co-worker, barked to us when telling us our order was ready, and barked directions on where the cream was at the coffee bar. Needless to say, no smiles either. No thank you. Just scowls. Some customer service training is definitely in order! All that plus a hefty meals TAX!

I went here for the first time today and it was a great experience for my family and I. They offer a variety of items and their breakfast special was something I have never had before! They were bagel melts and they were to die for. My kids also expressed how much they enjoyed their bagels, one of the girls who prepared out food even cut the bagels in fours for my little one! The staff was very friendly and had a big smile. Even the customers there were great even though we didn't know any of them. This is a must try place! Also, one of the employee gave us a sample of their Gelato and it was amazing! We will continue going there!

I have never written anything bad about a place before, but the Main St. Bagel & Deli deserves nothing other than a bad review. This was an unpleasant experience. They close at 3 PM and we arrived at 2 PM. They were out of soup, out of scones, out of croissants. The young lady showed us a bag of bagels and said she had a few muffins left as well. I asked for a coffee and they were out of coffee! They were open for another hour...they at least should have made a pot of coffee! Then to make it worse, I got a muffin and it had to be three days old. I could have put a hole in the wall with it. They lost me as a customer. I will NEVER return or recommend that place.

my dept at work orders from them several times a week, most of the time they are awesome, but, they tend to burn their muffins...twice I have gotten burnt muffins in the past week...

The best place i have ever been in sale! The best bagels and such a great atmosphere. There was such great service i got my food right away there and the workers are always friendly! A MUST try in salem.

This was a great place to go and it was awesome place to eat. The food was excellent and the price was lower than any other places i have been. Everyone there is friendly and there was a good atmosphere where i knew i could get my work done. I will definatly be back to eat there soon! :)
