This is our favorite pizza place! To our disappointment we found out Carmine's was closing. Thank you for the great service and food over the past years! Loved the NY style pizza.

Carmine's makes good pizza. It's better than the soggy garbage you get in New Haven. That's right, I said soggy garbage.

I love this place! Pizza is incredible- the sauce is to die for. The salads are always fresh, the grinders are always loaded. My family looks forward to trying Carmine's dinner specials every week, have not been disappointed yet. Great value and Carmine himself is a blast to talk to!

Delicious! Carmine's is definitely the closest thing to NY pizza in the area. The crust is perfectly thin with the right amount of sauce. The cheese is top quality. This is a true traditional Italian pizzeria. His sausage pizza is amazing. The calzones and the eggplant and chicken parm grinders are really good too. Reasonably priced and there is usually a coupon deal somewhere to be had.

Carmine's pizza rocks. Although other pizzerias in town (e.g. Harry's on Farmington, Luna) are a bit more gourmet and great in their own right, Carmine's is more traditional. Also a better value.

The food was amazing! I have NO idea what these other people are talking about. I am from N.Y and the pizza here is the closest I have ever found in Ct to Brooklyn Pizza. Maybe you Connecticut people like your pizza flabby and gross, But us New Yorker's like it crispy and delicious. Sauce was amazing! and service was fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you want REAL food and not nasty ol' Dominos

This is a good honest local pizza, something that as an industrial Midwest transplant I feel West Hartford is sorely lacking. The prices are also extremely reasonable, unlike Sally's and Harry's.

Pizza is okay, kinda soggy and lacking flavor. Made better frozen pizza's on my pizza stone at home.

The food was good....service was good.
The cursing coming from the kitchen easily heard in the dining area was a drag.

From all of the great reviews, I was expecting a superb pizza. Great crust, but vegetables on pizza were not as fresh as they should have been. Salad is also below average- house dressing not so great :(

I am from New Haven County, where pizza is pizza. Carmines did an awesome job.Excellent pie with a perfect crust. There the best I had in northern Connecticut.

I have lived in the hartford area for 25 years and this is the best pizza in the area that I have had. The toppings are fresh and delicious, the wait time is minimal and the pizza -- out of this world. A must-try Italian eatery.

Best Pizza! Love the crust - the sauce isn't too sweet - very fresh-tasting! Closest to New York Pizza I've had in Connecticut!

I can only rate the pizza, never had any of the other food. The pizza is great. It is the only pizza that is as close to what I can get on Long Island.
