Last Friday evening (July 10, 2009) my daughter had dinner in your restaurant. She raved on and on about her dinner. She had raviolis with farm-fresh tomato sauce on the ravs. The raviolis had fresh basil on them also.
Please email me back the farm-fresh tomato sauce recipe. I would love to make it.
Hope when I go to Bricco's, you will have that on your menu.

We had an excellent time here. great food, crowd, atmosphere, everything you could ask for in a trip to West Hartford center. The kinda of place that makes you feel like you've been there before, comfortable, yet chic. Will certainly return and strongly suggest you try.

My wife and I went to the restaurant based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We called ahead and attempted to make a reservation for my 40th birthday. The hostess informed us that they did not accept reservations for any less than 10 people. However, she assured us that if we got there at around 6pm, that there would be no problem seating us quickly.

We arrived at 6pm and the place was packed. Upon checking in with the hostess, she informed us that there was a 1 hr 15 min wait for a table. No problem, we squeezed throught the crowd and went to the bar and ordered a few drinks. About 45 minutes later we went to check how things were progressing and the hostess rudely informed us that she was, quote "under no obligation to seat us before 7:45pm". Her attitude was completely condescending and utterly uncalled for.

Needless to say we left and went to Max-A-Mia in Avon where we were seated immediately with a smile and with great courtesy.
If you enjoy abuse and want to be treated with disrespect by a pompous service staff, by all means go to restaurant Bricco. If you want to enjoy an evening out with great food and great service, and bypass the negative atmosphere go to Max-A-Mia, you won't regret it.
