I came here one night while my daughter was at St Mary's. I took the food to go, but the place has a very relaxed feel. The sushi was great, but very pricey, that's why I knocked a couple points in the value area.

This place is ridiculously stingy about money and tips. A friend and I went there for lunch the other day, and the service wasn't particularly anything outstanding. They didn't come serve us right away, and we waited quite a bit for the waitress to come take our order. Then thirty minutes later, six little dumplings came out, and ten minutes after that, our two little rolls came out. It was quite ridiculous how it would take so much time to cook such simple food. Also, the waitress never once came by to check on us, and never even refilled our empty cups of water. Later, when we were about to leave, I didn't have any cash on me, and so I thought my friend would have some to leave on the table. I paid my bill with my card, thinking that my friend covered the tip, but she didn't have any cash on her either, but by then it was already too late. So we went to the bathroom to wash up, and the waitress comes barging in, demanding that we pay her tip because the service and food was decent and that her boss only paid her $1 an hour, all in broken English. She even had the nerve to tell me that this was America, when I AM American, and I grew up in the American culture. These people are definitely undeserving of anyone's time and money, so don't bother wasting either!

Bar far the best Sushi in Madison at a very affordable price!! I usually call ahead and we pick-up, I never wait for my order......love this place!

The food is terrific, the service is great, but it is too overpriced for me to wanna eat there every time.

This is by far the best sushi place I've been to in Madison. The sushis were extremely fresh and delicious, the place was quiet, simple and elegant, and the service was extremely friendly.

There is a large number of sushi rolls to pick from. We picked 10 different rolls and to be honest, they were ALL good. They all had a different taste and texture, unlike a lot of place I've been to before where al the sushisl pretty much taste exactly the same.

The only thing I didn't like is the mango ice cream mochi. The rice dough was very stiff and crumbly in the mouth. The mango ice cream inside was pretty good though, so I don't know if I just got a bad batch or something.

Highly recommended, although a bit pricy, but that's how much you have to pay for quality !

Menu is very blurry, was hard to read for the take out. Food was not very good for the price

The simplistic, yet elegant, atmosphere of Edo Garden was an excellent change of pace. The service was fantastic; our food was brought out in appropriate time intervals that maximized the experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was spectacular, although a bit expensive.
