Excellent, unpretentious Mexican takeout. Best Chile Relleno on the planet. Huge, super-tasty burritos .
If you are Upcountry and like Mexican, don't miss this hidden jewel. Cash only....call ahead.

The mother is awesome , known her for 25 years . She and her son have always treated me great , made great food . Best Chile rellenos and Spanish omelette on island.
However , their prices increased between 2012 - 2020 like NO other . AND even when the mom was cool and make a deal , her " pinchy cabron culo pequeno hijo " son was completely unreasonable . Telling me as a " long term 25 year customer I deserved a " one time discount"
I will NEVER return . No voy regresar nunca ! No mas dinero .
Maybe mom should take over business decisions ?

Amazing Mexican and local favorites! Try their traditional carne asada tacos with cilantro and onions or chop steak, you won't be disappointed!

This local style restaurant in the 90's had the Maui News award for the best hamburger steak on the island. Now it seems the only decent thing they can make is breakfast. The present owner really brought down this former great restaurant to a new low. Shame on you Mrs. Tan.

This place is actually a MEXICAN & LOCAL "hawaiian-japanese specialties" restaurant. Just imagine your japanese beef hekka tasting like tamales. Its because they use the same marinated meat for both dishes. My thumb is larger than their mochiko chicken. Mac salad with too much mayo.Dry stiff rice is served. Not worth your money & time to be wasted here.
