This is a great little dive to go sing karaoke, watch the games on big screen TV's, play pool or video lottery, or just hang out. Karaoke 9pm-2am Thurs-Sat with what the regulars there call "The world's best KJ" Gemini. Drinks are strong, food is...ok, bartender is HOTT! Ignore the one bad experience this other reviewer had. I've been going there for 5 years and NEVER got food poisoning, neither has anyone I know. BTW, breakfast is served until 2pm and it's AWESOME!!

"Hey there friends! Its not that often I get food poisoning but I did last night and wanted to give my friends here in PDX a heads up. DO NOT eat at the Candle Light Restaurant & Lounge on 73rd & Glisan (7334 NE Glisan St) I ate it last night and have been sick as a dog all last night and all day today! I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork, Pork Rice, Shrimp & Crab Puff combo. First off the chicken was FLOODED with Sweet & Sour Sauce to the point where it was so slimy it made the Pork soggy & cold. The Crab Puffs had next to no crab/cream cheese in it, The Shrimp WAS NOT clean and the Pork rice was extremely greasy. I ate a little bit of the Sweet & Sour Pork and the Rice and kicking myself because I should not have, but I paid $11.00 for that meal and was hungrrryyy! I reported this place to FOX 12's Dirty Dining. So beware, if you are on the east side and need some Chinese Food, save your hard earned cash. DON'T EAT HERE! "
