The food was good but small portions. if your going to charge much at least give reasonable size portions and just like chinese restaurants, rice should always be complimentary. Everyone especialy filipinos eat alot of rice.

We'll be eating here within the week. There are many mixed reviews. We'll be reporting back on the service, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience. We'll see if Tambayan can bring their A-game this week.

We've been a regular customer at Tambayan Restaurant, the food, service and prices is great! Their hours are 11am-8pm Wed to Sat. and 11a-7pm on Sundays.
to George, the sign on the door shows they close at 8pm, so if u try to come in at 830pm of course they wont let u in.Duh!

it's been 4 years we are going to this restaurant and they change owners for 3 times..still their services are slow, waiting period 1 hr before they served your order..they even charge u for convience fee which i never heard from other restaurant. If you order their dessert halo halo all they gave you is 3 ingredients, in normal halo halo 8 to 10 ingredients...what a rep off...not going back there at all...

So glad to see the place get a face lift. Much nicer atmosphere now. Service was OK, staff friendly and I really like to family feel of the place. I had the Bicol Express and was very pleased. I have had other items and am always satisfied. Great place to take the family and feel like we are back in the Philippines...

My husband and I were dissappointed in about May 2010 when our order was taken and was not submitted. The son who took our order would not submit the order to the mother. She was in a long conversation with another customer. We felt ignored so we got up and left. We went back again October 2010 and were turned away because they were closing at 8:30pm. We think this is a private social club for the new owner and to whom ever she feels like engaging but if you go there just to order food, dont arrive hungry. She must have little education in operating a business. It's funny to experiance. Go there for the experiance but dont go there hungry.

In fairness to Tambayan Restaurant and from the experience and review of Mr. Nelson of Lynwood..
I was also there with my family that day and it just happened that Mr. Nelson's family was in front of me about to pay their meal, and we were about to pay too and overheard his complain, and what I heard was the lady that he mentioned here (i'm not sure if she is co-owner or just helping out), apologized to them and didn't even charge them for the food they had a problem with...
Honestly, my family always have a good experience everytime we go there, and the service is lot better and faster...the people there always made us feel welcome with their smile and service like we're in Philippines....

My Family and I ate lunch on this restaurant last
Saturday April 3, we were so hungry that we ordered a lot of dishes. Their foods are really good, but when my wife tried the adobong pusit,
there was a human hair in the food. I immediately called Marivic ( owner, mgr. or in charge of the restaurant) to show the hair in the pusit's plate of my wife. She hurriedly picked-up the bowl and gave us a new bowl of adobong pusit. She did'nt say anything, I told
her that her COOK'S should use "HAIRNETS". I also think the new bowl of pusit came from the same container where the old bowl of adobong pusit that has human hair. I love filipino foods
but not foods with hair.....

We live in Seattle and visited Tambayan yesterday. Wanted to try a whole bunch of menu items as they all sounded good and reasonably priced but we didn't want to get too full as we had a dinner party to go to that evening so we had pancit palabok and halo halo. They were both good; however they need to work on their service. We waited for over an hour and a half before the food arrived. We want to visit again but hopefully their service improves the next time we go.

Went to this restaurant on Saturday and the food was great. Had the Shanghai Lumpia, fried to perfection and served with some sweet chili sauce. We also had the Dinuguan, Pancit Malabok and my wife had the fresh spring roll. All was good, wait staff fantastic and would recommend this place to anyone who likes authentic Filipino food.
