The food at this dinner is excellent and as in most dinners it is cooked right in front of you so you can see how it is being prepared not like most restaurants where its all down in the back of the house and you don.t know what goes into it or how its prepared.I read the former review about the slow service and have never found that to be the case. They do however cook the food in the order in which it is ordered and maybe that's what the the last writer was complaining about.Maybe because they had been there more then once they felt they deserved special treatment (a RI Thing)The staff their treats everyone with respect and always greets you with a smile and a friendly hello. The owner Miss Kelly always thanks you never misses a opportunity to thank you for coming in she truly appreciates your business and makes it a point to learn you name so the next time you come it she can add that little personnel touch something you will not find in bigger restaurants or chains. So I recommend you give the JD a try but don"t be surprised if you become a regular I did.

The food here is really good-wish I could say the same for the service. We used to come here for lunch years ago but stopped because it took almost our entire lunch period just to get our orders and gobble them down.Decided to try it for breakfast yesterday-supposed to open at 7 A.M. No one there. Just as we were leaving to go elsewhere someone was opening the door. If you are going to open for breakfast @ 7 A.M. then be there earlier ready to go. Orders don't get immediate attention and this leads to the slowness in service.
