Reviews of Frank's Pizzeria

The food was wonderful and our server was very pleasant. My only issue was we ordered a pizza and a salad and were there two hours! People that came in after us who were apparently regulars were catered to. They received their food before us. Then when we finally got our food we were done within ten minutes and never saw our server. When our server finally checked on us it took her ten minutes to box our food then we waited for her to bring the check more waiting to run my credit card. I was very disappointed with the service. We won't be dining in anymore.

Food tasted like microwave dinner. Server was less than knowledgeable about dishes and less than friendly. $3.50 for a split plate charge is outrageous. Manager would not even speak to me about the charge which the waitress failed to inform me of prior to bringing the bill to the table! Manager proceeded to argue with me on the way out the door when I expressed my concern with the disclosure of the split plate charge. He stated he doesn't need my business! Do NOT go to this rip off mediocre place.

The gluten free pizza is plenty for two people and I think fair for the price. It has been consistently good and if you look at supermarkets gluten free pasta & flour do cost more than the wheat variety. So far this has been the best gluten free pizza I have tasted in town.
Franks is one of the best Italian restaurants in Richmond.

If you are a gluten free customer, you will like the pizza but you will NOT like the price. A small, personal size pizza cost over $18.00. That took me down to two stars as it ruined my meal. I won't be going back for gluten free pizza.
