I had been a fan of Pino's pizza for years UNTIL NOW!. I used a credit card to pick up a pizza & then I discovered, after viewing my online bank account, that they had tacked on FIVE DOLLARS for gratuity. When I signed the receipt at the restaurant, it had the correct price on it. So it was added after I left. Had I not checked my online checking account, I would not have discovered the "error".<br />
I called Pino's & spoke to one of the managers. She went back to check the tickets & said someone made a mistake & put the "gratuity" on the wrong ticket. I didn't buy that excuse.When I went to Pino's to pick up my $5, I told the manager I thought I should get a courtesy coupon or some percentage off my next pizza. She said no, but I could have a couple of cans of pop!! Needless to say, they've lost my business for good!

This is in response to Eric. I am not condoning what they did to you at your service is right but I will say when they told you they were very busy and you only saw four tables, they were probably still busy. I used to work for Pinos and most of their business comes from phone in orders. Weather it is pick up, delivery, appointments, etc. So your food was put in the line from the time written down. Everything goes by the first order taken to ensure the quickest out time. So a few things that happened were uncalled for but I just wanted you to know why it might have taken so long for your food, FYI.

Would not take a credit card from a customer unless they were available to sign. Just lost future business from our customer. They were treating there vendor for a job well done. Too bad you lost out on a great business.

Been To Pino's On Main 3 Times Now!..And 3 Strikes Your OUT!..It Was A Sat.Evening So We Knew Their Was A Crowd & There Was..But Went For It ANYWAYS!..(Slow Learners).We Sat Ourselves As It Was Growing Later & Starting To Thin Out..Their Must Have Been At Least 4-5 Waitress's & 2 or 3 Counter Ladies..We WAITED & WE WAITED..As They Kept Going By Us..FINALLY After About 25 Minutes, The Waitress Came Over & Wiped Our Table & Put Down Place mats & Table wear..Then We WAITED Another 10 MIN. For Our MENUS..At That Point We Decided We'd Best Hurry & Order Or This Was Gonna Be An All-Night-er..And My Husband Was Real Hungry By This Time..So, We Ordered, 1 Spaghetti w/Meatballs & A Italian Beef Sand/Fries Plate..WELL, Once AGAIN We WAITED & WAITED & WAITED..With NOTHING!..Finally Our Waitress REMEMBERED We Were There & Gave Us Our Drinks & My Salad, (Which We Shared)..Then FINALLY After Another 15 Min..Our Food Came..By That Time We WERE Very Hungry & Just Plain Tired & FED UP..(With, NO BREAD)..I Was 1/2 Done With My Pasta Before That Came To The Table..So,Remembering Back That The Last 2 Times Were Just As Bad, But We Were W/ Friends & Just Dealt With It!..THIS Was Gonna Be The LAST TIME!..All, I Gotta Say Is The Wait Staff If Very UN-Caring & Seemed More Busy Talking Near The Kitchen Than Doing Their Jobs..NEVER AGAIN..The Other Times I Say Shame On Them, Now, If I Go Back (WHICH I WON'T) SHAME ON ME!..P.S...Food Is Not Too Bad, Once You Get It..But, In Reality Folks I've Had BETTER & For LESS HASSLE..Signed - NEVER AGAIN!..

Their food is okay, the prices are great, the customer service sometimes sucks. Don't expect them to remember who you are. The friendly faces in the restaurant can be quite rude on the phone when they don't know who you are.

I can honestly say I am NOT a fan of Pino's on Main st in Rockford. It is a rarity for some one to get me so mad that I literally start shaking. After waiting nearly 20 min just for drinks my patience was wearing rather thin, couple that with being hypoglycemic (as is Kate) the longer wait for food to actually arrive did NOT help. After my patience finally gave out I decided to pay for the two salads and drinks Kate and I had but to cancel the order. After informing the cashier this she got the manager who informed us that our food was waiting for us at the table. I told her we didn't want it and was forced to pay the FULL price for it. The manager had an attitude which set me further off. She claimed that they were busy and that is why things took so long. There a total of 4 tables filled and two waitresses. Then she claimed that the waitress told us it would be 45 min for our food which she did not. Others in our party experienced similar issues. I can say in no uncertain terms it will be a cold day in Hell before I even step foot NEAR Pinos again.
