User Reviews for Penny Ann's Cafe J posted on 02/01/2013 Rating & Review: Penny Ann's is not the place to go if you are short on time. Service was very s l o w. The people are nice but that doesn't make up for a more than 45 minute wait to get your food. I had a roast beef sandwich and I'm pretty sure they cut the meat right off of the cow without cooking it at all and I seem to be paying for it last night and today. The pie is just pudding and a frozen pie crust nothing special at all. We won't be going back there and there were 12 of us who seem to agree there are better places to go for lunch. Also, the door opening and closing is very cold and uncomfortable when you have to sit through that for 45 minutes +. It took 3 requests just to get a Dr. Pepper.
