I have tried sushi in some of Salt Lake's finest, but this little sushi restaurant located in a small strip mall in Fort Union has by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. The owner is from Japan and is very particular about his fresh fish which is specially flown in and he not only uses a specialty rice but makes his own soy sauce ~ which is very good! The ambiance is aesthetically quite pleasing with a very friendly staff. They even have a flat screen TV if you're into sports. The wine is limited but the chardonnay is excellent. I recommend the Sushi Vampire or the California Morning.

I just love this place! We have been going every since they opened and have not stopped. They put to shame the other local places (Tsunami, Mikado & Happy Sumo).
The Double Tuna roll is to die for and the Playboy roll kills the Mikado version. The prices are way more reasonable with no compromise on taste.

I have been going to Sushi In Joy since it opened and I have not wanted to go to any other sushi place since. The employees are friendly and the sushi is out of this world. I've referred many people there and all have had the same experiance.
