This is the best Italian food i have had Cheff Mario comes from BACI and he has amazing food and every thing is made from scratch they offer a all you can eat for 9.99 you get fresh to order pizza pasta bread salad. not like a buffet that has been sitting all day.also the address showen here is incorrect they moved to 3078 west 7800 south west jordan 801-563-7447.if you have a chance go try Maurilio's

I love this place!!! The food is authentic and reasonably priced for fine dining. We usually eat there at least once a week. The owners couldn't be nicer the service is always great they go out of their way to please and have never disappointed us. I love the new location and they have a large room for private parties, can't wait to have our next Christmas Party there.

I went there randomly one day craving Italian, and ordered some food. As I was waiting on my food (ordering out)I sat down infront of the tv where the manager came and sat as well and I noticed a dirty baby diaper sitting on the table below the tv right infront of the manager (either he didnt notice or didnt care). I was super grossed out but was still willing to give this place a chance so I told the lady who took my order (also the cooks wife) about it and she said sorry but never took care of it. So I went and sat back down and looked to my right where the baby high chairs were and saw someones hair brush... now I'm starting to get really grossed out. What kind of place has dirty baby diapers ON THE TABLE and brushes full of hair in the baby high chair seats. I finally got my food got home and was very disapointed.. I paid way too much for a little bit of food that was only alright... both my sister and I ended up throwing a lot of it away that we couldnt stand to eat, and the salads were terrible. I wouldn't recomend coming here, its not worth it, and they over charge for a little bit of food.

I, too, have really enjoyed this little restaurant. I have dined here twice in the last year and both times I really enjoyed the food I ordered and the service was excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I don't understand what the other bitter comments were all about but from my experience with them, it must have to do with other things and not the restaurant. I recommend this quiet, clean, and good food restaurant to everyone.

I went to maurilios with my mother who is 85 years old and very picky. we loved the food and the service was excellent maurilios offers early bird specials for 5 to 7 for only $5.95 Monday Thur Thursday it was Friday and the server told us we could order off the early bird menu and any time we came we could have the early bird special do to we are senors. if you have not tried them please do.

My wife and friends of ours and myself have eating at Maurilio's many times. The food is excellent,the prices are reasonable,and the service is very good. They are very courteous to their patrons. They have the local Micro Brewery Bohemian Beers on tap plus other national beers. The Restaurant is super clean.
The restaurant is tucked behind Wingers and in Front of the Movie Theaters(You have to look for it) You won't be sorry you went there.

I worked at Maurilio's and i whole heatedly agree with the reviews of the horrible customer service as well as the bad food. Debbie, the co owner of this restaurant is unreasonably rude and condemning to almost everyone who dain's her doorstep. She is bad tempered and uncaring of anyone's feeling unless they're praising her wonderful restaurant. I have also seen her hang up on more than one person and act more than impolite to many other customers not including her constant gossip and bitterness toward anyone brave enough to waste money at Maurilio's. The only saving grace of this place is chef Mario. He's the total opposite of his bitter wife, very sweet and very gracious, and his deserts (unlike the food) are incredible, as mentioned above the sabyon sauce is my personal favorite. I'm glad to hear of its closing.

Excellent food, well-prepared. Always fresh and delicious. Chef Mario is a thoughtful and talented chef and he's created a fabulous menu. Friendly staff. A fine dining experience in a neighborhood setting. Surprisingly not expensive either. Try the Artichoke Chicken -- you will come back again and again just for that dish, not to mention the rest of the delicious menu.

My husband and I have eaten out at a lot of places, and we were delighted to find this place. The chef is especially good, and I'm sure it was Debbie serving us in a warm and attentive way. We felt well taken care of, and the food was excellent. The green salad and rolls were wonderfully tasty and unique, and the dessert we chose was absolutely delicious. Even the restrooms are clean and stylish.

Hi i just wanted to start by saying who every left the bad reviews on 2/27/09 all 4 were obvisluly the same person who has nother berrt to due in there lift but lie. because i dine at maurilio's at least once a week and the food service and prices are excellent. and they do serve soup and salad with all there meals. you can eat at maurilio's for less the you can at olive garden. and for the rumor that maurilio's is CLOSING IS NOT TRUE.i talked to the owners and they have no plans to close.

Glad they are closing, They are not friendly and the food is terrible. Take a Lesson from Olive Garden/Macaroni Grill and others who have great italian food for the value! They are in a great location too-look at thei othe restuarants right by them always busy.They are not closing because of the economy they are closing because of them, poor business and yucky overly expensive food that is gross.

Deb and Maurilio are so nice. I just love this little restaurant! What a shame to lose such a nice place to eat, There are so few nice little Italian restaurants out here on the southwest side. We will miss you. Thank you for the great food and terrific service!
