I was there for lunch today for the first time. I bought several coupons in daily deal and decided to go there for my mom's birthday today. I was told by the manager that I could not use the coupon for lunch, only for dinner. We stayed anyway to give it a try. I thought the lunch menu was really small but everything we ordered was really good. Our waiter was very nice.
I am always in search of nice places in La Jolla to take family and friends and this one I would recommend, except for the rudeness of the manager.
Her attitude when we came in was not nice and at the end of our lunch she came to our table and pointed out her finger to me and told me in a rude way that I was only allowed to buy two coupons. She was arrogant and if it weren't for the food, the nice service from the waiter and the coupons I have to use I would not go back. I eat in downtown La Jolla at least twice a week and like to go where I eat well and where the service is courteous.
