Do NOT let them seat you upstairs, there is NO View!! Make sure you insist on being seated downstairs! The upstairs area has absolutely no view whatsoever. Our intention was to enjoy the beautiful view during sunset for my birthday celebration at Chart House. Unfortunately, my excitement plummeted as the hostess guided us to the undesirable upper floor. Regrettably, the view from upstairs is nonexistent. Despite the excellent anticipated food and service, I was very disappointed in our view of the ceiling. If you're making a reservation, be proactive and ensure that you specify your preference not to be seated upstairs.
