A taste of New Orleans in the Bay Area - I had dinner at the most amazing restaurant in the Bay Area. Bluz By You! It was a themed restaurant and the theme was New Orleans. I must confess I have never been to New Orleans, but if it is anything like how the restaurant portrays it to be, I should make a trip. The food was excellent. I tried their house salad and blackened salmon and it was delicious. They had a live band playing jazz music and a well stocked bar. The bartenders and the rest of the staff were very courteous and the service was impeccable. I’ve been raving about it to my friends and we’re planning a get together there. Can’t wait to go again!!!

Bluz By-You is my little bit of home
I am originally from Louisiana but moved to the Bay Area some years back. I missed the good old South, though I find the Bay Area a friendly place and perfect for raising a family. But what I missed most was the vibrant atmosphere of the south, the soothing music of the jazz and blues bars sprinkled around the South and most of all the amazing Cajun cuisine. A friend of mine told me about Bluz By-You, a Cajun restaurant in the Bay Area. I first dismissed it because there is no way that any restaurant can match the Cajun cuisine that I was brought up on. My friend insisted on taking me out to dinner to Bluz By-You. I was floored. It was like walking into New Orleans. The ambiance, the great music and most of all the amazing Cajun food that Bluz By-You served us was mind blowing. Now I have a little bit of the South tucked away in a corner of the Bay Area that I can go to whenever I miss home.
