i drive 80 miles when i can to eat at Freebird's. I bring all my out of town guests here too! they are outstanding and their nachos are the best! overpriced? no way. They are not just for drunk college kids, they are for anyone who knows good mexican food.

chipotle is better. and cheaper. freebirds is totally overrated by trendy college kids who go there to eat at 3 am drunk when nothing else is open. first time i went there, the lady wasn't even wearing gloves. i saw her touch the cheese that she sprinkled on my burrito and god knows if her hands were clean or not. that pretty much kept me from ever going there again. the taste is pretty much like a second-class chipotle. ambiance is actually a lot better at chipotle too, and the employees wear GLOVES. WHAT A CONCEPT. chipotle's flavorful cilantro lime rice vs. freebird's mexican-rice-a-roni generic mexican rice. their guac is basically the same except chipotle's is more fresh. their burritos also LOOK the same size, but chipotle's are more filling. after chipotle, i'm bursting full. after freebirds i can still eat more. freebird's beans are also generic canned refried beans you can get from like... the grocery store... chipotle's beans are flavorul and their pinto beans are actually cooked with bacon yum. and freebirds is also like 50c to $1 more expensive depending on what you get so i don't see why you would go to freebirds instead of chipotle other than convenience, or because freebirds is open and chipotle is not. not saying its a bad burrito... if you've never had chipotle, you'd probably be thrilled by freebirds. so on my list of best burrito places. 1. chipotle. 2. super cucas. 3. freebirds. so they don't taste bad or anything... their just not "OMFG LYK THESE ARE THE BEST BURRITOS EVER"
