Called Lucky's to find out the calorie content of their pecan pie. The manager answered the phone and said he didn't have any calorie information on hand, but estimated that Lucky's pecan pie dessert has about 1000 calories, because it has "lots of sugar". I asked him if he knew how many calories was in 1 tablespoon of sugar. He said he didn't know. I told him "45". He then became very snooty and added that the pecan pie was a "large dessert", hence his 1000 calorie estimate. I was not impressed by his guestimate or his pretentious manner. Especially since, the Montecito Cafe, right next door, serves food of comparable quality, with cheery service at about half the price.

For the money I think we could do better. We asked to sit in the bar area for the atmosphere and we were stuck at a small table in an out of the way place in a corner. Not big enough for 4 people. The service could have been better our waitress seemed confused and very busy.
The next day my husband had an upset stomach. We have tried Lucky's many times, but I think this is our last time to eat there.

I LOVE LUCKYS...When asked by a friend where is my favorite place for steak - that was easy. My husband and I love to dine at Lucky's with special friends because it ALWAYS makes for a special evening. Yes it is expensive, so this is our treat to ourselves when we truly want something nice.

I have been here at least ten times and every time get a great meal and enjoy the food and atmosphere. My son took me here when he was in college and make a point to eat here whenever I am in town.

Just ate there tonight, my 4th time, and last time. The service was poor, what service there was, was arrogant and late, and the food was totally over priced for the value received. Really not a good place to eat at all, and definitely not a place to take clients.

The service is very uneven. At times, the service is very bad.
Hostess Jennifer sounds tired and bored on the phone.
Dinners can be VERY expensive because nearly all vegetables etc. are a la carte. Main entrees are also expensive, especially steak.
The restaurant can be very noisy, especially when one dines in the bar area.

Don't waste your time or money at this place. I give most restaurants 4 chances before I write them off. The only thing that Lucky's does consistently is offer horrible service and mediocre food. If you read this and go I told you so.
