I stopped in to Tupelo in 2007, asked the waitress what was her favorite thing on the menu, & was told "Fried Chicken Salad." It was amazing, wonderful flavors with the corn bread and dried cranberries.
Each time I have driven through SB for the last 3 years, I make sure to stop & have my favorite salad !

A few friends went to lunch at Tupelo Junction yesterday. Had a terrible meal. Everything, and I mean everything was dripping in oil. Fried green tomatoes were a greasy bust, fried pickles..an interesting concept but were little green pools of grease. The potatoes were limp, undercooked and swimming in oil. Hamburger, BLT both greasy. How do you mess up a hamburger? I asked the waitress about the potatoes. She said that she did not eat fried foods very much so she was not sure if the potatoes were supposed to be swimming in oil. She was less than helpful throughout the meal--even forgot to bring us our change after the 18% tip was included in the bill.
