I love this restaurant! I am not sure of the other reviews but my family and I go just about every Sunday. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the service overall is outstanding. I have gone to another restaurant in the area and often find dirty cups. What better way to start your day - go the East Mountain Grill!

We've tried multiple dishes here. Without exception, the dishes have lacked flavor / spicing. If you get the Indian Taco with meat, instead of beans, be prepared to wade through twice as much lettuce and tomato, as meat, despite the extra charge for the meat. This has been the case over a period of 3 months and ordering that dish 4 different times. Very sad. Guess they stay in business because your only other choices are McDonalds, Sonic and Pizza Barn.

I have tried several entrees at what I now term as the EMG. The food is better than most moderately priced restaurants I have visited. Edgewood, NM is a very small town near Albuquerque, and East Mtn Grill can certainly boast of it's excellent food and great service in spite of its "small-town" location. They also serve Starbucks coffee and have great desserts.

My husband and I are new (6 months) to the area, and were headed to another restaurant, and were excited when we saw the East Mountain Grill for the first time, so we thought we'd give it a try. We started with some chips, guacamole and salsa, which were extremely bland. There was absolutely no salt or seasoning in either the salsa or guacamole. The salsa tasted like tomatoes with juice, and the guacamole tasted like a mashed up unripe avocado. Dinner was not any better. I asked the waiter what the most popular dishes were on the menu, and he recommended several, one of which I ordered, the Indian Taco. The presentation was fine, however, once again the entire dish had no flavor, with the exception of the greasy cheese, which smothered the taco, but was like eating elastic. My husband ordered the cheese enchiladas, which were bland and tasteless.
When we went to pay our tab, the cashier asked how our meal was. My husband said, in a monotonous voice, "It was just okay." Which in turn, the cashier replied, "Oh good, I'm glad you liked it."
I was going to tell tell her that we were disappointed, but could tell that it wouldn't make any difference to her, so I decided to do a review online, in order to hopefully let the restaurant owner know, or at least warn customers who may be deciding to try Katrinah's East Mountain Grill, to go somewhere else.
