The menu understates the quality of the food, unfortunately, the service and decor are sorely lacking. In an economy like today, the last thing one wants is an overpriced menu with bad service. The chef seems to be top notch offering a nice fois gras and beautiful desserts, but the rude service and unbelievably high priced wines deteriorate from the experience. Add in the total lack of decor and an undertrained staff... all you have is an average or below experience. Try Trattoria Nostrani down the street, but only if you want amd expect top notch.

Although it was a beautiful night, the outside patio was closed, forcing us to eat indoors. The atmosphere in the summer is an 8 or 9, dining under beautiful trees in a lovely setting. The inside is cramped and virtually undecorated. You can hear all the converstion, foul and otherwise, from the wait station/kitchen. It was impossible to ignore the converstion or recieve service throughout our meal. The food was above average, but the couldn't care less staff were too much to handle. I recomend this spot only for a two or thee hour lunch in June, July or August.
