This is a GROCERY STORE NOT a restaurant. We drove 50 miles out of the way to come here because we had read on several websites that it was a Russian restaurant. We did call and ask if they were open and were told yes. But of course we had no reason to ask if they were a restaurant since they are listed as such. When we got there the manager informed us that it had been a restaurant at one time but that had been over 5 years ago. He had no idea why they are still listed on various sites online as a restaurant.
09/11/2009 - Expired food and rotten attitudes - don't waste your money
Be careful to read the expiration dates on the food that you buy from this unfortunate establishment. Do not dare question them about the dates either; they will ignore the print on the label and insist that the product in question is fresh - that is, assuming they have not scratched the date off of the label.
Furthermore, they do not hesitate to shove their reactionary politics down your throat.
I will never spend another dime on the poison peddled at A Taste of Russia in Kent, WA. You could do better scrounging through a dumpster
