Jake’s Steaks supplies San Franciscan’s with the best Philly Cheese Steak. Opened by a Philly native, the sandwich house is a great spot to come in, grab a beer and a traditional cheese steak or watch the latest games on its big screens.
Jake’s is a fantastic spot to settle down at the bar and take in a Giants game too! Humm Baby!

Really good philly cheesesteaks, best in the bay area in my opinion. Don't bother going else where. Best thing about Jake's Steaks is that it is also a sports bar and is the few that serves good food. A great place to catch a game, grab a beer, and a cheesessteaks. It is a Penn St., Eagles, Phillies hangout.

I can say that this place has the best cheesesteak in SF after trying many places all over. I like the sport bar feel and nice atmosphere. I always get my cheese steaks with Whiz but no onions though. Waffle fries are pretty good but try their garlic fries..they use fresh garlic…hum….. fresh? Yep…it is amazingly good:)

A great neighborhood sport bar that happen to serve cheesesteaks. This is the best cheesesteaks in san francisco and I have tried them all. The people at Jake's Steaks are friendly as they allowed my group to book a TV at the store to watch our school's March Madness game last year.
