Food was good portions were good but had to wait too long I was there 35 minutes people that came after me got their food before me

My husband and I arrived at the restaurant a little before noon on a Sunday. We waited approximately 5 minutes for a booth ~ the cafe was very busy! Our waitress was exceptional! She took our order and made sure my coffee cup remained full ~ for the next HOUR. Our food was FINALLY delivered around 1:10. It was very good, but we were so surprised to have had to wait so long especially since one of us ordered a special of the day. We also noticed a table of 7 received their food ahead of us even though they weren't seated until well after us.
This was the second time I have eaten at Yellow Cat Cafe. My experience was far different than the first visit I had. Maybe because my first visit was during the week and they weren't as busy as a Sunday?
We'll go back ~ it's a great local restaurant within walking distance of our home. As I said, the food was terrific, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very pleasant. We just can't understand why it took so long for us to receive our food!!!
