03/18/2023 - Very classy restaurant
I’ve been three time now and have always had good service and really good food. Prices are a little on the upper side but so is the experience with burning wood fire place in the cold months, candle lit cloth table cloths and napkins and hot dinner rolls; even some real Italian servers.

Great food, great bartender, great desserts, great service. I would recommend this place to my mother.

To go to Capri in Granger is a DINING EXPERIENCE . WE have always had marvelous meals, pasta , rolls, desserts, hand made at the restaurant. YES the pasta is made there!! I've dined across the world and locally and Capri is among my top 2 favorites! . We love stepping into the old world atmosphere, the fine fireplace, the wood, the wines, all the space! Then the food: I won't pick one from the menu..I just can't. I love them all. Even the salads and soups are exciting. The service is excellent: I love that they anticipate needs without asking. ( Lisa is the BEST !) Two utterly wonderful standouts: Get on Arturo's waiting list when he prepares a dinner in front of you. Experience the addition of Liquours, butter, flaming pans, seafood, incredible pasta, flambe ( Oh so beautiful flaming pans) .... courses and courses-- sometimes accompanied by appropriate wines--- with a flaming dessert! Second: if you like Limoncello, try theirs. again, it's made by them!! wow. no equal. Well, third: Save room for the desserts OR come back and have coffee and dessert. It's wonderful. As I said, it's an EXPERIENCE, a Dining Experience. AND REMEMBER: Get on that list so you can make reservations for that intimate gathering when Arturo demonstrates his talents in preparing those beautiful singular meals you'll not get from here and through Chicago. They are memory makers!
