This place defies all logic. In the middle of no where you can get an upscale breakfast or lunch prepared by hand from a professionally trained husband and wife team. You also go back to the way South Carolina used to be and still should be. I live 75 miles away but anytime I'm headed in that vicinity, I make sure I stop by at Grits & Groceries.<br />

If you just want eggs and a meat forget it and the cheapest item on the Saturday brunch menu is $8.50.
