User Reviews for Smorol's Jan H posted on 09/20/2010 Rating & Review: I took a party of 6 to this place on sunday for saurbraten......If you ever have that intention.....dont do it.....the saurbraten was NOT marinated, tough as shoe leather and grossly over cooked. The gravy was sufficient but couldnt save the meat. The stuffed mushrooms were SUPPOSED to have crab and bacon. They did have a slight bacon flavor amongst the DRY breadcrumbs and if there was crab , it was hidden well. One member of the group got delmonico steak......more shoe leather with gravy. Also the steak was as thick as a piece of bologna. Small and tasteless. The service was great, the salad was good , the soup was so so , lifeless . All in all I would go elsewhere for a fine sunday dinner.
