I am from Chicago, my wife NYC. We are transplants, and permanent Crossville residents now. We are both accustomed to world class cuisine, and this restaurant met our expectations. The menu is world class, as is the service. We were looking for a sophisticated restaurant to entertain my mother, and her husband that they would be able to return to Chicago, with a good report. NO, we did not move into Appalachia to become knuckle dragging rednecks, absent of culture! Fine dining is available in the small town South mom! It IS indeed! And we assimilated rednecks that sound like Yankees appreciate it! Yankee by birth, rebel by choice. Long live the republic, and Halcyon Days!

We venture down to Crossville, TN once a year for a week of golf. Every time we come down we hit Halcyon Days at least 3 times! Best place to eat hands down!! Great happy hour pricing on drinks, and the foot is incredible. My buddy always get the Tilapia. I love the Lobster Ravioli, Lobster Tails, and the Rib eye. Awesome place!

Your broiled lobster tails are excellent. I enjoyed the entire dinner.
