Hi my name is Elise and just recently I found out that y'all hired a girl named Jessica F and that girl is crazy we were gonna eat there but now we can't because she might posion our food so am writing to u to tell u that Jessica F is a crazy girl. But the food is awesome and delicous there.

On Saturday March 19, 2011 I took my mother in law and wife to eat here at dixie grill we waited like 20 or so minutes before we finaly put our order in then we waited 30 or so minutes before we finaly got our order in , thats not all the shrimp was cold the fries seemed like they were refried over and over , the the waiter never came to ask if we needed refills not to mention the owner never came to thank us or asked us how was everything but quick to take our credit card If you ask me I think he is a racist!!! If anyone that is of a african american or hispanic pay attention when you go there and look at the only people he will shake hands with or thank them!!

I am sorry that your waiter did not get to your table quickly enough. Our standard is for the waiter to get to the table within 30 seconds. <br />
The waiter you had that day no longer works for us. <br />
I wish you had asked for service instead of asking for your check so that you could pay and leave. We try not to miss anyone in servicing them. If you come back, which I hope you do, feel free to ask for me - Bill Thompson. Also, if anything we do does not make you happy, just bring it to our attention so that we can fix it immediately.<br />

I am the owner and wanted to respond to haroldburris posting on 12/02/2010:::: <br />
Mr. Burris wanted to pay with his gift card, but he did not have the card with him. The manager on duty gave him my business card and asked him to contact me the next day.<br />
I would have gladly verified with my credit card processor to see if his card had been used and gladly issued him another. He was told this by the manager on duty. Mr. Burris has still never contacted us.<br />
If there were any food issues, we would gladly taken care of them.<br />
I wish Mr. Burris had his gift card with him when he ate with us and maybe he would have gotten so angry when he wrote this review. <br />

Rotten catfish: Refused to honor $30 gift certificate. Steak cold.<br />

Great food. Great service. I had the Oyster Po Boy Sandwich with wonderful seasoned French Fries. The Sweet Tea was served in a large pitcher. The server recommended the Award Winning Banana Pudding, which was the best I ever had. I'll be back.

I've eaten at Dixie Grill in Seguin, Texas a few times before today. Today, I waited for service a long time and finally had to go up to the hostess and ask for a check for my cold drink so I could pay, leave and go eat somewhere I could get service. <br />
Instead of checking me out, the hostess decided to 'sick' the waiter on me that wouldn't ever come take my order to begin with. I had to argue with this guy for five minutes telling him to just bring me a check for the drink so I could pay and go. He just could not understand that is all I wanted to do.<br />
Before this brilliant waiter came to my table to try to fix the problem, I had to listen to him telling another patron that he used to be a 'law enforcement officer' but quit that job to open a Repo business but that it was slow so he's waiting on tables.' <br />
the waiter came over to a guy behind me that came in fifteen minutes after me and took his order right away but never bothered to ask me if I needed to be waited on but when I tried to pay for my drink and leave without ordering, he was sent over to me to give me a hard time.<br />
The food there is not that great, it's about the only full service restaurant in Seguin though and sometimes, I find it more convenient to stop there. I think I'll pass from now on.<br />
