You know, I grew up in Hoboken right outside New Jersey and they had this small Italian place called Garaventa's that ruined me on Italian food. Nothing else could compare. I found a place that is just like it, Andolini's is the first place I've been to in over a decade that didn't boil my spaghetti to mush, had a tangy rather than fake tasting sauce, and didn't break my bank. I got out of there with spaghetti marinara and a soda under 10 bucks. My office decided on Olive garden for lunch, the bill was over 120 bucks for 5 people, and the food was God awful.
Also in Hoboken we had 28 in pizza. Andolini's has 20 in pizza which is bigger than anything Me or my kids have seen anywhere else. Pizza was meant to be big enough to fold people. Thank God for Andolini's or I think I would go crazy missing the east coast.
