We had a wedding banquet in the restaurant. Gigi and Tony (the owners) went out of their way to decorate the tables and chairs for us. It was so beautiful and homey. We had a great time with our guests moving around and visiting different tables. The servers were so courteous and nice to accommodate our group. The food was AMAZING. I loved everything, especially the green beans. It was a wonderful night! Thank you so much....

What a refreshing change from the cookie-cutter Chinese food served by most places! Food and service were both excellent as well as quick. This place has some of the common dishes, such as sweet & sour, lo mein, and General Tso's. But they also offer numerous items not ordinarily available. Our "beef fried flat noodles" tasted much better than run-of-the-mill lo mein; we had no need of soy sauce to 'doctor it up.' The sweet & sour chicken is thin-cut and very lightly coated prior to frying, unlike the hard, round balls of mostly tempura batter that other places serve. I'd never had spicy seaweed salad before, and GiGi's seaweed seemed a tad strong-flavored for our palates but it paired nicely with the noodles. Our son recommended this place to us, and I'm glad he did; we'll be returning here soon.

I was thrilled when I found this place, since I remember when GiGi had a restaurant in south BA. It was my favorite, and so is GiGi's Kitchen! All the food is freshly made and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The menu is bigger than their previous restaurant and includes some gems - the fried and steamed buns, for example, are delicious. It's obvious GiGi takes pride in her work and the restaurant is bright, clean, and cheerful.
