Top Reviews of Luby's

review_stars 12/18/2012 - James Hardin
My husband and I have eaten at this Luby's for more than 40 years a-piece. Never had a complaint. Today we both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak (it was a special). My husband also got mac&chesse ad turnip greens. I got a small salad and fried mushrooms, I had a wheat roll, James a piece of cornbread. The steak was terrible, the breading and the gravy tasted terrible. James' greens were cold before we could get thru our steak "stuff". We got a doggie bag and our dog didn't want to eat it.

Needless to say we were very disappointed and it will probably be a LONG time before we go back. Hate that.,.............

God Bless,

Dolores

We were traveling through Tyler on Monday, May 12th, and had lunch at Luby's. We enjoyed it so much, we went back and had dinner there also. The iced tea was especially good! I have no idea what was so different about the iced tea, but I loved it. I drank about a half gallon, and I would have liked to have more, but was afraid I would be awake all night! What do you do to your iced tea that makes it so good?
